The Turtle Survival Alliance is an international organization dedicated to the preservation of all turtle species.

In Northeast Florida especially on the Talbot Islands, they monitor and protect the Diamondback Terrapin Turtles, a species that inhabit our beautiful marshlands.

Tabitha Hootman will share her vast knowledge and we can always count on her to bring a turtle or two so we can all experience their beauty!

Outreach personnel from MOSH's Florida Naturalist Center will also be bringing  some of their "traveling turtles" for us all to learn about and view up close and personal!

After Hours with Friends has been a big success and a great opportunity to meet park personnel, local experts and, of course, like-minded friends. With topics like Birds & Beer; Archaeology of the Timucuans; Pelicans, Plovers, and Pints; Stargazing and S’mores; and Turtles in the Taproom we have a lot of fun and learn about our local ecosystem.

Spoonbill Pond Tours are offered by Dr. Elise Pearlstine, wildlife biologist and FOTI board member.  These private tours are raffled at our after hours events and scheduled directly with Elise.

Groups may also request private tours, the fee for these tours is based on the number of attendees.
